About Dream On Dance

Dream On Dance

At Dream On Dance, we build happy dancers. Our studio is a comfortable, inclusive space where every student is taught to explore their own relationship with dance, without judgement. Our core focus is to help each dancer find their own unique path through a well-rounded dance experience that includes ballet, jazz, tap, and hip hop. At Dream On Dance, we believe all dancers should shine. Our studio is a welcome escape from the complicated world children face today – a dancer’s home away from home!

Curriculum

Dream On Dance offers a solid foundation of technical and artistic training in all classes across a variety of dance genres. We also help students develop a keen sense of musicality and choreography skills, which are important to become a confident dancer and performer and will lay the foundation for more advanced elements of dance.

Performances

Dream On Dance takes a different approach to the performance aspect of dance. Recitals can be costly and stressful, so we have created an in-house, low stress performance option called Parent Watch Week that takes place in the studio in winter and spring for all of our 5 year and under dancers. Parent Watch Week provides parents and guests with the opportunity to watch the dancers perform some of the moves they are learning in class along with a piece of choreography. This format allows you to see your child’s progress from winter to spring! Parent Watch Weeks are designed to feel just as exciting as a recital with costumes and decorations, but less intimidating. It’s a win-win for everyone! We also offer a Spring showcase for our students 6 and up, this allows students to experience a stage performance at the end of the season. Participation in the Spring Showcase as well as a costume rental is included in your students regular tuition fees.

"Miss Grace is an inspiring and talented teacher. In her three years of teaching at my studio, she quickly became one of my students favorite teachers. She not only challenged them, but taught them the love of dance! I am excited for her to expand her passion in Virginia as a dance studio owner."

“Not all dancers are the same. Your dance studio shouldn’t teach them that way.”
